ASTM A240 SS 347 Perforated Plain Sheet are a columbium/niobium-stabilized version engineered for various environments primarily requiring intergranular corrosion resistance, which mainly occurs when the material is highly exposed to high temperatures for a prolonged period of time. EN X6Crninb18-10 Plain Sheet feature outstanding properties in high-temperature surroundings. 347 perforated sheets are the preferred choice for welding applications.
1.4550 2D Finish Sheet are obtained by punching fixed shapes of holes into a stainless steel base plate. SS 347 Perforated Sheet, also known as SS 347, is the standard grade with a chemistry of columbium and tantalum, which provides exceptional performance across high-temperature environments ranging from 800-1650°F. Due to these excellent proportions, chromium carbides at grain boundaries cannot deplete the surrounding chromium in the fighting area during extreme heat applications, thereby reducing the risk of sensitization. This preferred bonding between columbium and tantalum features stabilization of carbides within the grain and not the boundaries. SS 347 is a suitable choice for post-welding processes without the need for post-weld annealing. Gost 08Ch18N12B Cold Rolled (CR) Sheet are designed to serve across applications ranging up to 925°C, while intermittent service is limited to 870°C. When it comes to scaling resistance, SS 347 grade options provide reliable resistance up to 1050°C, which is an excellent choice compared to standard grade 304, 304L, or 316 options.
