Abhay Steels is a manufacturer and stockist of SS 321H Galvanized Shims. In high heat environments, where standard steels are vulnerable to intergranular corrosion, Abhay Steels provides excellent and premium quality ASTM A240 SS 321H BA Finish Shims. These titanium-based austenitic alloys are manufactured to result in high resistance against corrosion and carbide precipitation during welding. UNS S32100 Galvanized Shims can be a very effective choice in high-temperature zones, offering good line-up and spacing and gap-filling performance throughout various industrial applications.
For high-temperature environments where standard stainless steels are susceptible to intergranular corrosion,Abhay Steels offers premium UNS S32100 3/4 Hard Shims. These titanium-stabilized austenitic alloys are engineered to provide exceptional resistance to carbide precipitation during welding and extended high-temperature service, ensuring reliable alignment and spacing performance in the most demanding applications. Grades 321 and 321H are the 18/8 stainless steel family (similar to 304) stabilized with titanium additions. This unique composition provides critical advantages for high-temperature applications:
Grades 321 and 321H are considered 18/8 stainless steels comparable to the 304 Grade; both are stabilized with a titanium mixture. This unique addition gives the material a critical edge in high-temperature environments. JIS SUS 321H 3/4 Hard Shims are also very resistant to superior intergranular corrosion, forming titanium carbides rather than chromium carbides, specifically during welding procedures and temperature crossing above 425 degrees Celsius up to 900 degrees Celsius. ASME SA240 SS 321 3/4 Hard Shim also avoid sensitization and maintain corrosion resistance without needing post-weld annealing. ASTM A240 SS 321 2D Finish Shims are very durable in nature and get strengthened across intermittent service up to 900 degrees Celsius; at the same time, they also maintain mechanical properties. The 321H variant features a higher carbon content ranging 0.04%-0.10% vs 0.08% max for 321 grade.
